Sakura no saku haru no tameiki ni naretara
Naiteru kimi no suzu no ne wo sotto yurashite agerareru?
If I grow accustomed to sighing in the spring when cherry blossoms bloom
Would I be able to gently ring the bell-like sound of your crying voice?

Yubi no aida wo sururi to nukeru
Douyara mienairashii
No matter what you do, your black hair and slender shoulders captivate people’s gaze
I slip through your fingers
But it seems that you can’t see it

Wakatteru soredemo
Sono koe wo kiite boku wa sukuwareta
Kimi de mitasareteiku
I know the truth, but still
By listening to that voice, I was saved
And I continue to be filled with you

Ouka kimi ni koishita you da
Saikau ni sode wo hikarete
Kyou mo soba ni ite ii desu ka
Cherry blossoms, it seems that I have fallen for you
Tugging at your sleeve in the early spring rain
Can I stay by your side today as well?

Sen no yoru ni tozasaretemo
Kotowari ni kanawanakutemo
Kimi ni todoke tsukuyo ni sode shigure
Even if a thousand nights imprison me
Even if logic won’t let this love come true
I’ll convey them to you
The tears wiped on my sleeve under the moonlit night

Tonari no sekai ja dore mo garakuta de
Kachi no nai monorashii
Even if I turn this clock counterclockwise, the present remains unchanged
But the worlds around us appear to be nothing but rubbish
With no value to them at all

Itsushika dareka to
Ai wo tsumuidatte nakisou na yoru wa
Kasa wo sashite ageyou
Even if, unbeknownst to me
You spin the threads of love with someone
On the nights where you are about to cry
Let me raise an umbrella for you

Ouka boku wa koi ni ochita
Suimen no tsuki wo motometa
Saredo tesusabu wa glass no iro
Cherry blossoms, I have fallen in love
I sought the moon on the water’s surface
But even so, that mirage is the color of glass

Sen no yoru ga matataku ma ni
Yamiyo wo nutte kimi wo kakusu
Yukiba no nai kono te wa kuu wo kiru
A thousand nights stitch a cloth of darkness,
And hide you away in the blink of an eye
My hand cuts through the air, with nowhere else to go.

Nee mienakutatte kamawanai suki datte iwasete yo
Itsumademo koko ni irunda
Hey, I don’t mind even if you can’t see me, let me tell you that I love you
I’ll always be right here

Ouka tonari ni iru noni naa
Haruka tooku tooku tooku sakimidareru
Boku wa shiawase da nakanai kara
Cherry blossoms, even though you’re right beside me
You blossom so bountifully far, far, far away
I am in bliss, so I won’t cry

Sen no yoru ni tozasaretemo
Kotowari ni kanawanakutemo
Kimi ni todoke
Tsukuyo ni sode shigure
Even if a thousand nights imprison me,
Even if logic won’t let this love come true
I’ll convey them to you
The tears wiped on my sleeve under the moonlit night

*Translator's Note:
The title’s “Sodeshigure” literally means a quick-passing rain on sleeves, but is an expression used to refer to teardrops that have fallen on sleeves, as if they were raindrops in a passing storm.
