MimimemeMIMI & Mafumafu's Collaboration Song "Relativity Replica" Included in New Single, Tie-Up with Game App

Jumping out into the scene, a new release born from the “vocally resembling” duo

It has been decided that the new song “Soutaisei Replica (Relativity Replica)” in MimimemeMIMI's next single “Tentekomai (Bustling with Activity)” will be a collaboration with Mafumafu, a music creator working in the Nico Nico Douga net scene.

As the duo of MimimemeMIMI & Mafumafu has become a hot topic online for having similar voices and Mafumafu has further prompted the comparison by actually covering MimimemeMIMI's “Sayonara Usotsuki” on Nico Nico Douga, the events have led to this time's collaboration.

With lyrics by MimimemeMIMI, “Soutaisei Replica (Relativity Replica)” is a joint work between her and Mafumafu, and Mafumafu has been given charge for the song composition and arrangement. MimimemeMIMI's Comment

From the time since I first heard Mafumafu-san's voice, I had been thinking that I want to sing together with him someday, so I'm happy that this sort of collaboration could be realized. As a tie-up with the (“LAST OF TITAN”) game, the lyrics are filled with thoughts of questioning one another's meaning of life while still continuing to vigorously fight onwards. Another new face of MimimemeMIMI has come out, and as it is a composition filled with rushing feelings, I hope to be able to let everyone listen to it live soon.

Starting from the topic of “our voices sound similar”, I continued on with rapid strides to collaborate with head illustrator Chamooi-san, and then to collaborate for this time's music track. Instead of feeling uncertainty or anxiety, there was an infinitely multiplying level of comfort I felt for the unsociable me to be given the opportunity to write a track for MimimemeMIMI-san and the game. Since there is no guarantee that any of our eyes reflect life in the same way given the differences in what we hold in our hearts, I thought of what exactly it meant to write a song meant for MimimemeMIMI's position, my position, and the game. I believe that it'd be nice if this is reflected to the listeners through my music framework and composition.
